Running JavaScript every frame just to fade an icon is overkill, and React Native Ease finally fixes that. The new library from Yanik at App and Flow runs simple animations on Core Animation and Android Animator, so your fades stay smooth even when the JS thread is busy. It is not a Reanimated replacement, and knowing where each one belongs is the whole point.

What's inside
- What Ease covers: opacity, transforms, fades, and crossfades on state change
- Why OS-level animation keeps motion smooth when JavaScript stalls
- Swapping Reanimated boilerplate for a single with and
- Install with , plus the prebuild step
- The rule I now follow: Ease for state changes, Reanimated for gestures and layout
